A warm welcome from Dunbar Residents’ Association president Elizabeth Ball set the stage for a good-humoured candidates’ debate at St. Philip’s Thursday night.
Participants included Colleen Hardwick and Theodore Abbott from TEAM for a Livable Vancouver; Lucy Maloney for OneCity; Annette Reilly for the Green Party of Vancouver, and Sean Orr from the Coalition of Progressive Electors. All are running to fill two vacant seats on Vancouver City Council in a byelection set for April 5.

Who to vote for? Crowd watches candidates make their case for an X on the ballot in the April 5 byelection. By the end of the evening, the candidates were moving toward agreement on one thing: don’t elect any more ABC councillors.
